We will have access to the radar data from the Darwin Cpol , C-band polarimetric radar (12.248°S, 130.925°E) operated and maintained by the Australian Bureau of Meteorology Research Center (BMRC : http://www.bom.gov.au/australia/radar/ ) and already intensely used in the Framework of TRMM GV activities. Surface rainrate, 3D fields of reflectivity as well as hydrometeor identification will be provided for MT GV.
