Above the weather radar exploited by Meteo-France ‘over seas’. MeteoFrance is processing surface rainrates (1 km ; 5 minutes) as well as reflectivity maps for each scanned elevations (as part of the so called ‘AROME’ radar product recently developed for assimilation purposes). This data will be extremely usefull for instant rainrate and profile validation..
