A thesis related to Megha Tropiques was defended in LMD-Palaiseau (Karim Ramage). It concerned the determination of rain at different space-time scales using TRMM and Meteosat and its validation from surface measurements.Structural properties of convective clouds in IR and microwaves were also compared. Karim Ramage will now work on the preparation of the scientific data base of Megha-Tropiques.
