The Scientific Programme committee of CNES is informed by the Direction that, due to budget constraints, several scientific experiments already planned are threatened of suppression. The Committee refuses to give priorities and give arguments defending all the threatened programmes. Megha-Tropiques is among the experiments proposed for suppression.
