Indo french mission teams meeting in India, April 2005

The mission teams from the two countries met in Bangalore, 25 to 27 April. The purpose was to re-start coordinated studies related to Megha-Tropiques science. The meeting took place in ISRO, and was chaired by R. Narasimha. Cooperative studies were foreseen in the domain of data bases, algorithm development, sampling, convective systems, monsoons, tropical climate processes, assimilation of microwave data in models,… A further meeting aimed to define more precisely a limited number of precise actions will take place in October 2005, also in Bangalore. A wider circle of scientists rom both parts will participate to that meeting.
