Mission group meet in Paris, December 2007

The Mission Group, a large group of people formally representing the institutions and the scientific activities of the satellite mission met in CNES Paris on Monday 17 december. The discussion was rich and long and lasted 4 hours. The status of the Mission developpement, algorithms, man power  as well as the calendar for the next 6 months were carefully reviewed by the participants. The Mission group includes Laurence Eymard (LOCEAN, microwave calibration), Nicolas Viltard (CETP, madras rain algorithm), Michel Viollier(LMD, scarab radiation algorithm), Olivier Chomette (LMD, scarab radiation algorithm) , Rémy Roca (LMD), Sophie Cloché(IPSL scientific secretary), Samuel Westrelin (MeteoFrance, cyclones) Filipe Aires (LMD, multi-instruments clear sky retrieval), Fatima Karbou(MeteoFrance,assimilation) and Marielle Gosset (IRD, rainfall validation).
