The IRS (International Radiation Symposium) conference is held every 4 years. This year it took place in Foz de Iguazu from 3 to 8 August 2008. Olivier Chomette was present for an oral presentation in session H (Radiation budget and forcing) whose title was "Radiation Measurements on Megha-Tropiques". He presented the instrument Scarab and the latest level 2 algorithmic developments for this instrument. He also presented the Megha-Tropiques mission and the three others on board instruments (Madras, Saphir and the GPS). Finally, he announced the conference in Ahmedabad next January 2009.
