Annoucement of the International Conference on “MEGHA-TROPIQUES Science and Applications” Organized by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales (CNES), in Bangalore, India, March 23-25, 2009 (Initially in January 2009, the MT conference is now held in March).
The primary goal of this conference will be to discuss how satellite data can be used to understand the variations in water vapor, clouds, liquid water, ice and radiation budget that occur in the tropics. The conference will have invited speakers as well as contributed papers. We welcome contributions from scientists all over the world. The conference website (http://www.mtconf2009.org ) provides more information about the conference, including the guidelines for submission of extended abstracts. All interested participants are requested to register through the conference website for receiving updates on the conference.
