The 8th international planning workshop on GPM has been held from 16 to 18 June 2009, in France, Paris. It was hosted by CNES and CNRS/IPSL, in the frame of the Megha-Tropiques mission. More than 110 participants have attended the meeting, from different countries and institutions (NASA, CNES, ISRO, JAXA, ECMWF, WMO, GEWEX, ..).
