CMSAF hosted a very successfull two-day informal meeting around the Megha-Tropiques mission with participants from NIO, Hamburg University, CMSAF, RMIB and IPSL. Discussions focused on the estimation of the surface budget from space including surface radiation parameters, evaporation and rainfall over land and ocean. Potential (numerous) further collaborations among the participants were also discussed. More information can be obtained from Dr J. Schulz CMSAF and/or Dr R. Roca LMD/IPSL.
